Moreover, some people often encounter this directly: careless movement of the fingers on the touchpad on a laptop, and the shortcuts and font on the desktop suddenly grew sharply or became smaller. And to do everything back with the help of the same manipulations with the mouse does not work. It is time to put an end to this ignorance.

Method for Windows 7
An excellent solution was applied for the seventh Winda, which in many respects made it easier for the desktop icons to fit the perfect look. We click PKM on an empty space on the desktop and select the lowest column - “Personalization”. In the window that opens, you can change the font of the icons, increase or decrease them, as well as select a number of custom settings for transforming the desktop. Unfortunately, in Windows 10 we can change themes, wallpapers and something else through “Personalization”, but it’s very difficult to influence the icons there.
Windows 10
On the tenth Windows, no matter how you fight, you will not be able to increase or decrease the size of the icons through the same settings. This, of course, can be considered a minus of the new system. There is another special tab in the context menu that allows you to influence the labels. It is called "Screen Settings". There you can, moving the slider, change the labels and everything else with them on the desktop. In any case, the previous methods are suitable for Windows 10.
Text
The font of course also changes along with the labels on the desktop, however, probably, many wanted to see with it completely different metamorphoses, or at least make the text smaller or larger, regardless of the labels.
Here you can adjust the text size.
On Windows 7 with fonts, you can do everything through the same personalization. On Windows 10, the font itself will not be able to change, it is possible only to reduce / increase the size.
- Open the window "Design and personalization."
- Select the section "Screen".
- In the “Change text size only” item, you can set it bold for any selected text: window titles, icons, tooltips, etc. — as well as change the size.
As you can see, there are several methods to reduce or increase the size of tags, as well as their font. Choose the one that allows you to make the necessary changes.
