If the fragment is too small, it will be enough to click the left mouse button, after which the copied area will be displayed on a new layer. If the fragment is large, the stamp works like a brush. The small cross at the bottom serves as a successful hint for the designer, since it indicates which fragment will now be displayed.

Since the stamp is a kind of brush, the user can make changes to its size. On the size of the brush will also depend on the clarity of the contour of the image. The higher the parameter, the clearer the borders of the copied fragment will be drawn. The smaller the diameter of the brush, the borders will be more feathered.
Also, a graphic designer can change the shape of a stamp, make it not traditionally round, but original, resembling a star, a flower, a snowflake, and so on.
