How to make cribs in Word

It is no secret that the text editor Microsoft Word is very actively used for various purposes in various fields. Nowadays, students have to work a lot with the Word for writing reports, essays, research papers and, of course, cribs. In this article we will take a closer look at how to make a cheat sheet in Word so that it is convenient and readable. Let's figure it out. Go!

Modern students can no longer do without a text editor.

To make a convenient cheat sheet, create a document with a list of questions and answers. Then select the text area with the answers and, in the field containing the font size value, manually enter 4.5, then press “Enter”. The font became small, but at the same time it remained quite readable.

Now you need to deal with the fields. Click the Page Layout tab. On the toolbar, in the “Page settings” box, click on the small icon in the lower right corner of the block to open the parameters window. Set all fields to 0.5 and click "OK". An error message will appear because some of the text is out of bounds. In the same window, click on the "Fix" button and Word will set the minimum suitable values for the fields on its own.

The next step is to edit paragraph indents. To do this, on the “Home” tab, find the “Paragraph” tool group and open this window by clicking on the icon, as in the previous case. Set the padding inside and outside 0 and select “(none)” in the “First line” item. Interval also set 0. In the Line spacing section, enter 0.7, after selecting “Multiplier”. As you can see, the text has shrunk a bit.

Next, in the “Page Layout” tab, click on the “Columns” button and select the “Other columns” item in the drop-down list. In the window that appears, in the "Number of columns" field, enter 4 or more. Please note that the more columns, the smaller the crib will be. The gap between the columns is better to set 0.1. Also check the “Separator” option with a bird so that separating lines appear between the columns, along which it is convenient to cut the cheat sheets.

Now we need to solve the following problem: in some tickets it turns out that part of the answer does not fit into one cheat sheet. How to fix it? If you see that one ticket starts in one column and ends in another, go back to the page settings and click on the “Breaks” button. In the list that appears, select "Column". Do this for each ticket by editing the entire text.

The list of questions can be useful if there are a lot of tickets, so that they have to be grouped. Therefore, you can make a separate cheat sheet with a list of questions in which you will note where the necessary groups of answers to certain questions are located. This is optional, but may somewhat facilitate the search for the desired answers.

That's all. So you can quickly and easily prepare spurs in the Word. Write in the comments, did this article help you, and ask any questions you may have about the topic reviewed.
