To work with the text on the PC there are many tools. There are tools for editing small volume, there are text editors that work quickly, but lack the functions. But in order to edit and format large text, to use advanced features, you still need a word processor - a program with wide capabilities. It requires more resources, more space on the hard disk of the computer and RAM when using complex functions, but allows you to perform much more tasks in less time and with less effort. Microsoft Word, of course, is not the only representative of such programs in the world, but it is the most popular and thoughtful, so its installation is usually the first thing that a user does after installing Windows.
It is included in the delivery of a special Office suite; besides him, there is Excel, Power Point and other equally well-known. Before you install Word, you need to think about whether you need them as well, since for a full-fledged office job you usually need the entire package. Installation process
Download or open from the disc the Microsoft Office installer of the version you need. To launch it, double-click the Setup.exe icon. To reinstall, you need to perform two steps, and we have already described both of them. Run the installer from the disk or from the catalog again, select the Word as a separate module and wait for the process to complete. After this, the program will be installed as a new application, that is, all settings will be “reset” to the initial ones, and you will need to again indicate the desired parameter values in the program menu.
