Such manifestations can occur periodically or become a permanent phenomenon, despite the fact that not a weak device is used. The culprits of this development can be installed programs that consume too many resources, and viruses that devour memory and system files, as well as load the processor, thereby slowing down the operation of the device. Having noticed a decrease in computer performance, users usually turn to the task manager, where they can see the current processes and find out which of them are loading the system. You can figure out who is the most gluttonous by looking at the top lines of the list of running processes in the corresponding tab. The Windows Task Manager service will show the values of resource consumption in percent, with the result that you can already judge the need for certain programs to work and take action. Little-known processes are not uncommon on a computer, but this does not mean that they are part of a malicious program. They include “avp.exe”, which can be both the norm and the pest.

In order to clarify what is “avp.exe”, found in the task manager, you need to see where this executable file is located. As an additional measure, you can apply the scan schedule setting, for which you can go to the subsection on suspending File Anti-Virus in the same Performance section.
