Cover removal
To complete this step, do the following:
- unscrew the screws on the cover on the back of the device. In most cases, they are hidden under the stickers or rubberized elements. Bolts on some models may also be located on the sides of the device;
- Remove the cover from the instrument. To do this, try to move the plastic "shell" in the left or right side. Usually it comes in special grooves through which you can move. This operation is important to perform carefully so as not to break the components of the laptop.

Cleaning the cooling system
All laptops have a similar "stuffing", one of the elements of which is the cooling system. It consists of special copper tubes that connect the fan to the processor and card.
If at home a complete cleaning of the laptop from dust, it requires the use of cotton swabs - they will help to remove large particles of dust. Next, use a balloon. Everything must be done very carefully so as not to bend the copper tubes.
The balloon is also used for the fan. It is necessary to clean the surface until there are no foreign elements between the blades. It is impossible to press on parts of the fan, it can damage it. The balloon itself is best kept vertically, otherwise the air will fall on the board. Remember that electronic components can be easily disabled.
Laptops of the latest models are often equipped with not one, but several pairs of radiators and fans. For such equipment, it is necessary to do similar manipulations several times.
Thermal paste replacement
Often cleaning the laptop from dust with your hands does not help prevent the device from heating. Excessive heat is usually subjected to a video card and processor. If previous manipulations did not help, then you can try this method. So, you have to replace the thermal paste.
Thermal paste is applied only on the video chip, and not on the entire surface of the card.
All steps should be carried out methodically and slowly. We recommend that you first unscrew the bolts that are pressing the video card to the radiator. Next, the device is pulled out of the connector and conduct an inspection. Usually an extra old paste accumulates on the chip and radiator, it must be removed.
After removing the residual thermal paste from the chip and the radiator plate, you can proceed to applying a new layer. Before this, it is advisable to wipe the surface to get rid of traces of fat.
Thermopaste itself is applied in a very thin layer, without going beyond the chip. You can apply both with a special spatula and a finger, the main thing is to get the desired result.
